Many factors conduce to plarigirsm, and the most serious factor is culture. A person's upbringing must accompany with the influence of culture, so the influence of culture is ineradicable, and that is why culture becomes the most serious factor which cause students especially international students plarigiaism during the acdiamic writing. Student with different culture background have different opinion toward plagiarism. Some may think the professor should think about the culture influence, while other think student should be re-educated before they starting writing.
The technological factor gives changes for all the students whatever students in different culture or native students to plagiarism. Professor have a lot of effective ways to prevent plagrisim such as the technological software "turnitin". It is controversial because someone says it is to hidebound and brutal but others think it is effective.
