Having taken this English for two month, My English writing skills has improved a lot.As the mother language of me, Chinese affect my second language writing and speaking in a large extent.For instance, It’s rare to see some inverted sentence or emphasized sentences In Chinese books and magazines I have read.Because of this reason, I hardly use those type of sentence in my English writing.Syntax is also a big obstacle for me.I am not a native speaker, so I don’t know which word should be used in a specific situation.For example, I often confused about “in”, “ or” when they gathered with time.However,COCA search really help me.Just type some words I don’t know how to use, It will show me the best results of How to link with other words.The area I have improved on in this class are logic thinking method  and paraphrasing which I’ll discuss more in second paragraph.

I was really satisfied with my digital story after the modification of Professor Benson. Thanks to Professor Benson’s work.My story of Confucius could be rounded and accurate.I use my experience in a speech of Dan Yu to make this story more interesting Because I attend this speech personally.I can have more feelings compared to watch her speech on TV programs.In the end,I can say that my digital story is really interesting.
