My writing skills in my first language is as horrible as in English writing which is my second language. I have taken this class for one and a half month. During this time, I have got a deeper cognition of academic misconduct and plagiarism, and the way which helps avoid plagiarism. So far, I know how to write a summary for an article, but it is not enough. There are still a lot of writing skills that I must learn such as how to write first paragraph, topic sentence etc. I have learnt how to write a summary. To summarize an article, I must get the main idea at first, then paraphrase the key sentences in the article that can represent the point of author. When writing a summary, it is a good way to cite what the author wrote. Moreover, reporting verbs are good helper to make your summary more logical. However, my grammar and editing ability still need to be practiced.

To my digital story script, I’m satisfied with the story. I wrote it in the sequence of time. furthermore, I add interesting examples which are supported by pictures that I took. Although there may be someplace that can be improved, I think it has already reached the level that can be called as an engaging story.
