My corea army

All of country have own army system. In Corea, seems like peaceful but actually war circumstance with North Corea, it just break time of war. Not finished. From this, most of Corean men must attend Army service for 2 years. I would like to tell about my Corean army life.

There are 3 kinds of army that consist of Military, Navy, Air force. Most of Corea men should go Army for 2 years but the disabled could be exempt or work in City-hall or Court and other government building.

I worked in Military. Each troop has own discipline style like basic, posture, shooting, guerrilla and tactics training. I worked in “Beak-Du Mt. military” which is located in Gangwon-province. Our Army was named from president who makes us to erect ‘victory flag’ on top of ‘Beak Du Mt’ where located in North-side of North Corea. My military have special mission. If North Corean army assaults my country, we have to endure 5 minutes at least. It means, if we success to preclude North Corean army not to go inside my country for 5 minutes, then the other South Corea army located down-side could prepare the war to win. My army stresses this sentence. “We will stay here forever whether alive or dead”
In this sense, you can guess my army located in GOP which is initials of “General Outpost”. It is boundary that only 700 meters left to go North Corea. As here is mountains area, -25’C in winter, wind chill temperature is -50’C. We cannot see even mosquitoes in summer. There are clouds under my foot.
Normally we had boundary look out work in two people for 2 or 3 hours. If some anonymous come up, the one have to take aim to anonymous, the other one have to connect headquarters. This is the best time to have honest talk with my peer. We usually talk about our parents, girl-friend. While look out the boundary, we can see ghost in psychologically if we see one point. We should look out every place.
While in the army I got 7kg even-though I climb mountain twice in one day. Food of army is very delicious. After discipline and working, we can enjoy our meal. After the meal, we enjoy our time in each room.
For entertainer, they also have to service in army. They assigned in special army that they serve as army radio DJ or advertiser to outside. When entertainer’s recruited day, many fans coming from china, HongKong, Japan includes reporter, journalist.

Recently, there are many people from foreign to experience about army service. In marine, they make program to give army experience for 3 days. Attendees can get discipline, eating army food what usually we do. You can also apply this program now.
