I came to Columbus a month ago. During this time, I experienced a lot of new things and began to know American culture and life.
The first thing I want to say is the bus system. Different from China, buses in here are more accurate. Although you can also find time schedule in China, the buses seldom come in time. Before the term began, I took COTA and CABS almost everyday, the bus always came in time. It gives me a very good impression. However, one thing I still don't understand about COTA is the bus line. For example, once I took route No.7 bus of COTA, it didn't go along the same route which I took last time though it still arrived the same bus stop, it seems that some stops are added in to the route.
Another impression is about cars. It was my friend who picked me up from the airport. When he drove on expressway, a very old Toyota overtook us with a crazy speed. Just a moment, I found the driver of that Toyota is a old lady with silver hair and there was a dog sat on the backseat, the lady looked like so exciting. After I asked my friend who has liven for 3years, I found that the essential difference is the law for cars. In China, there is a legislation which set the limit of years that you can drive your car. If you have drive a car for many years that reaches this limit, this car must be scraped. But because America does not have this type of statute, you can drive this car as long as you don't be afraid of death. that's why there are always some old or broken cars running on streets.
In comclusion, although there are still lots of things that different from my homecountry, buses and cars are the most impressive ones
