Bolg#2

“O-H-!” My life in America is awesome! As an international student, I arrived at the OSU in the Sept. 6th, which provides me sufficient time to feel this foreign city Columbus and my new school, the Ohio State University. Americans are friendly, foods are delicious, and the football games are exciting! Unfortunately, I have not been to anyone of the games yet because I did not buy any tickets. However, the thing impressed me the most is the network, which can be found in everywhere.

Why did the network impress me the most? The answer is simple. In China, the Wi-Fi is limited and for most of the time, we can only use the network line to get onto the internet. However, in OSU or even all over the Columbus city, people can search information, log into Facebook and shop online whenever they want with ease. Our buckeye ID is also a product of convenient network. At first, I was amazed by the “magic” of the little red card. It seems like with that card I can do everything both on and off campus. When I take the bus, the only thing I need to do is showing the ID; when I eat at Buckeye Donuts, just by swiping the card, I can pay for the foods; when I go to the RPAC for sporting, the buckeye ID is the ticket. These are all done by the convenience of network. Americans enjoy the ease without any conscious and happiness, but it will take China several more years to be as advanced in networking systems.

Technology changes life. The network has indeed promoted a better living standard for human beings. Now I am so excited to enjoy a convenient and efficient lifestyle life. “I-O!”
