This is the picture I used in my digital story telling, specifically under the graph talking about the not violating the academic norms. For the record, this picture is originally from http://www.crunchbase.com/company/napster. Besides the source, there are 4 fair use guideline which include the nature of the materials, the amount of use, the purpose of usage, and the how widespread this material will be. Therefore, in this case, the logo of Napster is actually a band of a online product, and the reason I use this has double meanings. First of all, napster is a online platform to share musics among people arond the world and download musics for free which seriously violating the copy right of  media companies. Thus this is the typical example for academic misconduct as well as plagiarism in academic circule. Secondly, since the copyright violating property of napster, it ends up with bankrupcy which would be a reminder for those people who plagiarizes often. Obviously, by using this picture, people are automaticaly remined this issue so that to prevent academic misconduc in their academic study, such as writing and research. The relationship between the picture and the citation in writing mainly consists of two parts. One, it is much more symbolic rather than literaly specific compared to the citation in academic writing. Because what picture do in the digital story is inspire audience to think rather than clearly pointing out what the opion is in citation. Two, it's simily to the academic writing that it have to obey the 4 fair use guideline which was mentioned above.

Although, the general idea of my digital story is basically talking about the difference between America and my home country, China. But the main point of the difference is embodeid specially on the not violating academic norms. Through this picture, it did help to give audience a deeper impression about plagiarism. Similarly, while picking this picture, I personally have a deeper understanding about academic misconduct of intellectual property usage as well. By the way, culter play an important role in academic misconduc especially for international students. Culture, as an essential factor, is argued in my argument essay. For instance, students from different country have different understanding about plagiarism. Also, due to the language issue, the rules about academic integrity cannot be precisely udnerstood by international students. This is also my supporting idea in my digital story while explaing the reason why international student would violate the academic rule in american university.
